Future physicians to celebrate milestone on Match Day

[Laura Tran, a graduating University of Arizona College of Medicine – Tucson student hoping to match into an internal medicine residency program to train as a new physician this summer after receiving her medical degree.]This Friday, 123 medical students from the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Tucson will learn where they will pursue the next phase of their medical training as physicians in training. A large chunk of them will pick primary care as their focus including internal medicine residency programs across the country. Many will train in Arizona, including Laura Tran, a Phoenix native who is a recipient of a Primary Care Physician Scholarship which commits her to serving in underserved communities.
