Dr. Arshad has something in common with Andrew Weil, MD, the founder of the U of A’s Center for Integrative Medicine, in that his path to Arizona was unexpected. Like Dr. Weil, he was driving through the state on his way to California when he was charmed by Tucson’s scenery.
While colorectal cancer offers a complex challenge to those dedicated to improving patient outcomes, Dr. Arshad – a Clinical and Translational Oncology Program member and assistant professor in the Department of Medicine’s Division of Hematology & Oncology at the College of Medicine – Tucson – says he is up to the difficult task.
