Exemptions & flu documentation
Please remember that all exemptions, religious or medical, or flu shot documentation provided by a location other than Banner Occupational/Employee Health, must be sent to nofluforyou@bannerhealth.com by no later than Dec. 5. Any exemptions that need to be filed must be approved by this date. Keep in mind, as we get closer to the deadline there could be an increase in exemptions that need to be reviewed. This could impact the review and approval process and may take longer for exemptions to be approved or denied. Sending those in sooner than later is suggested for this reason. For exemptions that have been approved, a mask must be worn for the remainder of flu season.
Flu reports
Check your flu report for any employees who remain outstanding and need to comply. With the recent HR changes to the employee website, here is the link for flu reporting, Report 2 Web http://intranet.bhs.bannerhealth.com/bhsystem/toolsservices/f-j/flu+resources/ . Save this to your favorites. This link will also give specific instructions on how to access Report 2 Web. For issues connecting to the flu reporting system, R2W, contact Bill Beaver.
“Thank you for your collaboration in protecting our patients, our employees and their families during this flu season,” said Jennifer Oxuzidis, RN, Employee Health senior manager, Banner – UMC Tucson and South.
