I was born and raised in Multan, Pakistan. I went to medical school at the King Edward Medical University, Lahore,Pakistan. After graduating from medical school in 2009, I worked in Pakistan for some time and then came to United States in 2013. I finished my residency training in June 2017 at the University of Arizona Internal Medicine Residency Program – South Campus. Then I went to the University of Miami for my hematology/oncology fellowship. After finishing my fellowship in June 2020, I joined the University of Arizona Cancer Center as an assistant professor of medicine.
I am currently working as an assistant professor of medicine in the Division of Hematology and Oncology in the College of Medicine – Tucson's Department of Medicine and at the University of Arizona Cancer Center. My main area of interest is Multiple Myeloma and related blood disorders. I practice Hematopoietic stem cell transplant and cellular therapies as a means of curing patients with lymphoma, leukemia and many other blood disorders. I believe in providing compassionate care for my patients.
