Ryan arrived in Tucson in fall 2020 to support clinical research in the UA Division of Infectious Diseases. Prior to UA, he was a clinical research coordinator at Whitman-Walker Health in Washington, DC for five years. His primary experience is conducting HIV and STI research. In 2020, he shifted to supporting COVID research at Whitman-Walker and UA. He is committed to improving community and patient-focused research.
Ryan Weltzer completed a BA from Michigan State University and a Master of Science (ScM) from Johns Hopkins University. He maintains a Certified Clinical Research Professional certification with the Society of Clinical Research Associates.
