About the Presenter
Xingnan Li is an associate professor in the Department of Medicine at the University of Arizona. He earned his bachelor’s degree in biochemistry and molecular biology at Peking University, Beijing, China. He earned his PhD in genetics and master’s degree in statistics at Michigan State University, East Lansing, MI. He worked at the Center for Genomics and Personalized Medicine Research at Wake Forest University, Winton-Salem, NC, for 10 years (2006-2016). He has been working in the Division of Genetics, Genomics and Precision Medicine, Department of Medicine, at the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Tucson since 2017. He is an investigator on the Severe Asthma Research Program (SARP), the Sub-Populations and Intermediate Outcome Measures in COPD Study (SPIROMICS), the Trans-Omics for Precision Medicine (TOPMed) Program, the UK Biobank program, and the All of Us program. His research focuses on genomics, biomarkers, and endotypes of respiratory diseases including asthma and COPD.
