The the Janardan D. Khandekar, MD, Chair of Personalized Medicine, and Division Head, Medical Genetics, Endeavor Health; and
Clinical Associate Professor, Department of Human Genetics, Pritzker School of Medicine, University of Chicago
Dr. Hulick is the Janardan D. Khandekar, MD, Chair of Personalized Medicine and division head for Medical Genetics at Endavor Health (previously NorthShore), which applies genetic analysis to prevention, diagnosis and treatment of inherited diseaes and disorders. He joined Endeavor Health as an attending physician in medical genetics in 2008, became division head of Medical Genetics in 2012, and medical director for the Mark R. Neaman Center for Personalized Medicine prior to his chair appointment in 2022. Dr. Hulick also serves as a clinical associate professor in the Department of Human Genetics at the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine. Previously, he served as an attending physician in medical genetics at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. He is the current chair-elect for the American Board of Medicla Genetics & Genomics (ABMGG). He has authored or co-authored more than 70 peer reviewed journal articles and book chapters. Dr. Hulick earned his undergraduate degree in biology from Northwestern University, his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College at Philadelphia’s Thomas Jefferson University in 2001. He completed his internal medicine residency training at St. Luke’s Hospital - Mayo Clinic and a clinical fellowship in medical genetics at Harvard Medical School. He also earned a master’s degree in medical science from Harvard in 2007.
