"I believe research is an essential part of medical training. As a resident researcher, I encountered barriers to designing, implementing, and analyzing projects. The committee allows me to advocate for my fellow trainees at the institutional level and assist them in overcoming similar barriers with the goal of optimizing their valuable time."
