Dr. Kramer completed her Rheumatology Fellowship at the University of Arizona College of Medicine - Tucson, in June, 2020. She served as Chief Fellow during her second year of training before going on to become a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Arizona and the Southern Arizona Veteran's Administration.
She earned dual bachelor’s degrees in mathematics and french at Barrett, The Honors College at Arizona State University in 2011. She went on to complete a doctorate in osteopathic medicine at Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine/Midwestern University in 2016. She completed her internal medicine residency training at Medstar Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, D.C.
In medical school she was awarded the Silver TOUCH award (Translating Osteopathic Understanding into Community Health) for community service, was a member of the Community Health Club Steering Committee, which ran the school’s free clinic for the underserved, and was a COMCoach providing mentorship for board exam preparation. She is a member of the Gold Humanism Society and was awarded a Spirit Award for her dedication to Cura Personalis (“Care of the entire person”) from Medstar Georgetown University Hospital. In residency she was a member of the Global Health Track, through which she spent two months working with Indian Health Services in Zuni, NM. She is a resident member of the American College of Rheumatology and the American College of Physicians.
