Dr. Jessica Yan was raised in the small town of Belmont, Calif., just south of San Francisco. She attended University of California, Los Angeles, where she studied psychobiology and, then, attended St. George’s University in Grenada for medical school. In 2015, she completed her internal medicine residency training at the University of Arizona (Tucson Campus) and headed to LA's Harbor-UCLA Medical Center for a hematology/oncology fellowship after serving as UA chief resident for scheduling in internal medicine (2015-16). Her current research involves the use of ESHAP-Zevalin, a salvage regimen, in patients with relapsed low-grade lymphomas. When Dr. Yan is not in the hospital, you can find her with her young son and husband, exercising, hiking or trying new restaurants.
