Sachin Chaudhary, MD

Dr. Chaudhary, who is the director our Interstitial Lung Disease (ILD) Program, joined the faculty of the University of Arizona College of Medicine - Tucson after completing his Pulmonary and Critical Care Fellowship here in 2014. An assistant professor of medicine in the Division of Pulmonary, Allergy, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine, he was previously an attending physician at UPH at Kino Hospital (now Banner - University Medical Center South) and University Medical Center (now Banner - UMC Tucson). 

Research Interests: 

Dr. Chaudhary's research interests to date have focused on health implications for Coccidioidomycosis (Valley Fever) in heart-lung transplant patients He is also a principal investigator on clinical trials where he is investigating anti-fibrotic therapy for Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF) and non-IPF interstitial lung diseases.
