In honor of national Solidarity Day celebrated on Feb. 16, dozens of medical students, faculty and staff will join hands and create a human chain representing solidarity with compassionate patient care.

Marion Henry, MD, MPH, joined the faculty as an associate professor in the UA Departments of Surgery and Pediatrics in November. She came to Tucson from Naval Medical Center San Diego, where she was a commander in the Medical Corps.
A study by scientists at the University of Arizona Cancer Center and Cancer Research UK has found that the loss of a specific tumor suppressor in “triple-negative” breast cancer provides clues about potential new approaches to treatment. The results were published on Jan. 30 in the journal Cell Reports.
