—SAVE THE DATE—
Come support the University of Arizona Internal Medicine Residency Program – Tucson Campus resident physicians (as well as fellows) taking part in the annual research poster contest that's a big highlight for the spring semester for the Department of Medicine on the UAHS main campus.
Light snacks and refreshments will be available.
The projected ITINERARY for the day is as follows:
- 9 a.m.-1:00 p.m. - Poster set up in the COM-T Social Hall.
- 1:00-2 p.m. - Food and beverage served and posters are available for viewing in the COM-T Social Hall.
- 2-3 p.m. - Formal poster presentations to judges in the COM-T Social Hall.
- 3-3:30 p.m. - Poster evaluation sheets tabulated and award winners decided (IM staff and leadership to tally).
- 3-3:45 p.m. - Oral presentations in COM-T Room 5403. This is a new session this year for residents with oral presentations accepted to regional and national conferences.
- 3:45-4 p.m. - Closing remarks with award winners announced in COM-T Room 5403.
AWARDS
Awards will be given for: 1) Best Case Report/Series; 2) Best Original Research Study; 3) Best Quality Improvement Study; 4) Rising Researcher (PGY-1 primary author); 5) Senior Scientist (PYG2/3 primary author); 6) Best Oral Presentation.
