Access to the new tower without exiting outside is available off of the second and fourth floors of the Diamond Children’s tower. Old vertical badges won’t work in new tower, so stop by security for a new one. In a message from the UA Senior Vice President for Health Sciences Dr. Michael Dake, it was announced that cardiologist Dr. Slepian, professor of medicine and medical imaging, was appointed a Regents' Professor April 11 by the Arizona Board of Regents. These prestigious appointments are limited to no more than 3 percent of the university’s tenured and tenure-track faculty members and only four other UA professors received this title for 2019.

Dr. Andrew S. Kraft, director of the University of Arizona Cancer Center since 2014, will step down from his leadership position effective June 30, 2019, according to an announcement today by UA Health Sciences Senior Vice President Dr. Michael Dake. An accomplished prostate cancer researcher and developer of novel cancer drugs, Dr. Kraft will continue in a leadership role related to research.
