UA nephrologist Dr. Bijin Thajudeen, who travels monthly to see chronic kidney disease patients in Douglas, Ariz., was among physicians who provided expert testimony on legislation to expand private insurance coverage for kidney and urology services in Arizona for telemedicine patient medical consultations. Unfortunately, the bill was assigned to committee with only urology included for possible coverage, but he was energized by the process and will try again…
