KOLD News-13 TV in Tucson started a “Business File” feature this summer in cooperation with Banner – University Medicine that focuses on different health-care issues of note to the local community. The first interview (featured at link below – or click on image right to view) is with UA dermatologist Clara Curiel-Lewandrowski, MD, on skin cancer issues in Southern Arizona.
In the 3-minute video, she is interviewed by Joan Lee, a former KOLD account executive who is now with MaddenMedia in Tucson.
“Yes, it did air (in mid-June),” said Christina Geare, regional marketing and PR director at Banner Health. “We recently did one on L&D (labor and delivery) and are planning another for stroke” that will air soon.
A research member of the Cancer Prevention and Control Program at the UA Cancer Center, Dr. Curiel-Lewandrowski is a professor of medicine in the UA Division of Dermatology, clinical director of the UA Skin Cancer Institute and director of the Cutaneous Oncology Program and Pigmented Lesion Clinic.
