In celebration of Women's History Month, the University of Arizona Cancer Center honored the 78 women members who come from different specialties throughout the university to make a difference in cancer translational research, prevention, and innovative discoveries today and long into the future. In each of their departments and colleges, our history-making members are using their talents to challenge our current understanding of preventing and curing cancer in Arizona and nationally.
Of the 78 women whose faces make up the collage at right (click to enlarge the image), fourteen have appointments in the Department of Medicine, including the Divisions of Hematology & Oncology, Dermatology, Gastroenterology & Hepatology, Infectious Diseases, and Endocrinology, Diabetes & Metabolism.
