Two Tucson Med Students Bring UA Scholarship Awards in Aging Research to Thirty in a Decade

Three National Cancer Institute-funded post-doctoral research traineeships are available at the University of Arizona Cancer Center in Tucson, Ariz. 

The T32 Program offers a multi-disciplinary mentored environment integrating behavioral to biological science research focused on cancer disparities and understanding and preventing cancer.

Distinguished Cardiologist and Scientist Dr. Guy Reed Named Dean of the UA College of Medicine – Phoenix

Guy Reed, MD, MS, a noted cardiologist, physician-scientist and health administrator, has been named dean of the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix.

The announcement was made today by Leigh Neumayer, MD, MS, interim senior vice president, University of Arizona Health Sciences.
