AMWA will be hosting our Winter Physician-Student Women in Medicine Mixer on Friday, January 24th, at 5:30pm. Come join us for supportive folks, good drinks and snacks! This will be a wonderful opportunity to mix and mingle with women physicians and residents of all specialties including Family Medicine, General Surgery, Ob/Gyn, and many more! There will also be short question and answer sessions for those interested in meeting and matching with a mentor. Everyone who supports women in medicine is welcome.

We are looking for volunteers to participate in our 2nd Annual National DNA Day Outreach Event in Tucson, Arizona!
National DNA Day is an NIH-sponsored event held on April 25th to commemorate the discovery of the DNA double helix in 1953 and the completion of the Human Genome Project in 2003 (https://www.genome.gov/dna-day).
