UPDATE ON BANNER HEALTH PROFILE VIDEOS
Ralph Lopez, senior video producer, brand experience, Banner Health, noted July 27 that the company has contracted with UA Health Sciences BioCommunications video team to record future video interviews to be included on provider profiles at BannerHealth.com and its YouTube channel. This is both for the remainder of current physicians who've yet to record their videos and new physicians as they're in their onboarding process. "We're trying to make it as uncomplicated as possible for physicians," Lopez said. "We understand they have busy schedules and some may be reluctant, so we want it to be as simple as it can be for them to get the video interviews done." The contract was to start in September, but was moved up due to the number of new physicians starting in August. Those interested can reach out to Lopez (ralph.lopez@bannerhealth.com) and UAHS TV Production Manager Ricky Bergeron (rb@biocom.arizona.edu) to schedule individual or group video shoots.
Banner Health and the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Tucson are sending out notices this week to encourage physicians and other health care providers with Banner – University Medical Group Tucson to schedule a video profile interview if they haven’t already done one.
“Banner Health has made some progress with sign-ups for profile videos with an additional 30 signed up since the last communication,” said BUMG Tucson Senior Administrator Todd Blake, but there are still a large number yet to be completed.
In the Department of Medicine, there are 76 of 184 health care providers with Banner – University Medical Group Tucson listed that are as yet to record their video interview and about a dozen yet to get a new white coat photo shot to complete their online profiles at BannerHealth.com.
Julie Bauman, MD, MPH, chief of the UA Division of Hematology and Oncology, is the latest physician to have her Banner video profile linked to her DOM profile (Click her name and scroll down in right column to view it.).
