Banner – University Medicine Tucson and the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Tucson will recognize National Doctors’ Day, March 30, which falls on a Sunday this year, with special lunches on Friday, March 28, and Monday, March 31, along with a waffle/pancake breakfast, March 31.
This year, Banner will celebrate its attendings, fellows and residents with lunch on the following days and locations at 11:30 a.m.:
- March 28: Banner – University Medicine North, Building 2, Room 10116
- March 31: Banner – University Medical Center Tucson, COM-T Social Hall (next door to the Business Administration Center)
- March 31: Banner – University Medical Center South, La Galeria.
The waffle/pancake breakfast will be hosted March 31 in the Physician Lounges.
The Banner Health Foundation also is accepting funding pledges on behalf of physicians with an “Honor Your Hero for National Doctors’ Day” campaign in which givers can share how their “hero” made a memorable difference. Click here to participate.
