CUP Clinics Open House

The College of Medicine – Tucson will celebrate the Commitment to Underserved People (CUP) program's 40th anniversary on Thursday, Oct. 18. From its modest beginnings 40 years ago, CUP has since evolved into a substantial program involving more than 90 percent of all medical students. Through the program, medical students help provide free medical care to more than 1,000 patients in the Tucson community each year. Participation in CUP helps medical students practice their clinical skills and get involved with the local community.

Workers in open office seating had less daytime stress and greater daytime activity levels compared to workers in private offices and cubicles, according to new research led by the University of Arizona.
