First-year residents known as interns in the University of Arizona Internal Medicine Residency Program – Tucson Campus got a jump start on their July 1 start date as physician trainees in the Department of Medicine with an orientation session held in Lecture Hall Room 5403 on Monday, June 17.

Clinical trial gives cancer patient the gift of time
Tucsonan Silver Darmer has been fighting pancreatic cancer for nearly a decade now. Thanks to a combination therapy that pairs immunotherapy with targeted chemotherapy, he has expects to enjoy a lot more time with his family.
