Setsuko K. Chambers, MD, and the Better Than Ever Scientific Review Committee announced that Victor J. Gonzalez, MD, an assistant professor of Radiation Oncology, won a $20,000 grant award from the UA Cancer Center’s Better Than Ever Program. Dr. John Galgiani is among three University of Arizona physicians on an Infectious Diseases Society of America panel that authored updated treatment guidelines for the respiratory disease that’s endemic to the U.S. Southwest.
