Our Leaders

Liao, MD, previously cardiology chief at the University of Chicago's Pritzker School of Medicine and vascular medicine research director at Harvard's Brigham & Women's Hospital in Boston, is chair for the UA Department of Medicine and Amy Sussman, MD, is the vice chair for the Office of Education in the department, while Laura Meinke, MD, is program director for the UA Internal Medicine Residency Program – Tucson Campus.
